At El Niu coworking space in L’Ametlla de Mar, the integration of nature into the workplace was designed to create an office that does not feel like a traditional office, but rather a warm, friendly and welcoming place.

The project is based on the idea of creating a shared workspace designed to welcome, protect and inspire. Like a nest, El Niu aims to offer a safe and comfortable refuge where people can work, grow and connect with others in an environment that supports wellbeing, focus and creativity.

To reinforce this sense of warmth and connection, planters with natural greenery were integrated into different areas of the coworking space. The presence of plants helps soften the space, bring it to life and create a warmer, more balanced and human atmosphere.

The combination of greenery, natural textures and warm materials helps create a biophilic environment where people feel more comfortable and connected to the space. In addition, the planters include self-watering systems that simplify maintenance and keep the greenery healthy over time.

This project demonstrates how nature can transform a shared workspace into a healthier, more inspiring and more welcoming place.
