A lobby is much more than a transitional space. It is the first area to welcome visitors, clients and colleagues, and an opportunity to communicate the organisation’s values from the very first moment.

In this project, the goal was to transform the reception area into a more welcoming and representative environment, aligned with a vision of wellbeing and sustainability. To achieve this, planters with natural greenery were integrated into the design of the space, bringing warmth, dynamism and an immediate connection with nature.

Beyond their aesthetic value, the presence of plants helps improve the experience of the people who use the space. Research in the field of biophilic design suggests that incorporating natural elements into indoor environments can help reduce perceived stress, increase feelings of wellbeing and encourage a more positive perception of the space. In addition, spaces with greenery are often perceived as more welcoming, healthier and more attractive.

The intervention helps reinforce the company’s identity through a living element that evolves over time and brings personality to the space. The planters incorporate low-maintenance solutions that simplify plant care and ensure the greenery is properly preserved.

The result is a more welcoming and comfortable reception area that creates a positive first impression and reflects the organisation’s commitment to people’s wellbeing and the creation of high-quality spaces.
